Lately, it seems that the only mobile news that comes from India involves the Samsung Corby. With all the hype and attention that the Samsung Corby has been generating, it’s almost easy to forget about the other Samsung models. A few days ago, Samsung announced a new model called the Samsung Metro 5200. As you can tell from the picture above, the phone is a slider phone. Available at the price of 7,400 rupees (approximately $160 USD), the features of the phone are pretty basic. Some of the features includes a 3.2 megapixel camera with an LED flash, Bluetooth, FM radio with RDS, and 50MB internal memory.

By now, the Samsung Corby line appears to have taken over the entire mobile market on its own. Samsung is introducing the new Samsung Corby Folder SCH-W930 for those who are looking for a more traditional flip styled handset. The Corby Folder will sport a 2.6-inch display, 3MP camera, Bluetooth, MicroSD card expansion slot, and DMB TV tuning. As far as we can tell, the Samsung Corby Folder SCH-W930 will make its first appearance in Korea, but don’t be surprised if you spot the new Corby in European markets sometime in the second quarter of 2010.
