Road SMS Lets You Walk And Text On Your Samsung!

Road SMS is new Android app available from the Samsung App store that allows you to see where you are going whilst you are texting. The app uses the mobile’s camera to project a picture of what lies up front, displaying it across the background of your keypad whilst you type.

A few months ago we heard of a text & walk app for iPhone, Android, Blackberry and Symbian but it only had a miniscule window that sat in the top corner of the screen to help you see ahead. Road SMS is a massive improvement on this however and the large size of the image makes the app much more practical.

Anyone looking at Samsung Galaxy S deals will be pleased to find that Road SMS comes as standard with the new smartphone and combined with it’s huge 4″ display, the app is extremely practical.

Nevertheless, we wouldn’t advise actually crossing the road whilst texting, or you might end up across the tarmac!
