Samsung Beam i8520 surfaces with Android 2.1 and IT Pico projector

Samsung kicked of MWC 2010 with the introduction of the new Bada powered Samsung Wave. It looks like it will be a great phone, but it seems the Wave has already been outdone by the Samsung Beam i8520. The Samsung Beam is running on Android 2.1 with TouchWiz 3.0 (same as the Samsung Wave) and features a large 3.7 inch capacitive SUper AMOLED display. Details on the processor has not been released, but it’s suspected to have the same Qualcomm Snapdragon processor as the Nexus One.

Though the initial specs are nice, the real feature that sets the Samsung Beam i8520 appart from other Android phones is the inclusion of the Texas Instruments Pico projector.

How many times have you wanted to share pictures, video, web pages or emails on your phone to someone else? Chances are it has probably been more times than you can remember.
