First Samsung handset featuring “Super AMOLED” display to debut at Mobile World Congress

Typically, new technologies are always shown off at CES, but Samsung is saving their new “Super AMOLED” display to show off at next week’s Mobile World Congress.  The new AMOLED technology allows Samsung to create AMOLED display’s up to 3.3 inches that offer 20% better outdoor visibility and also include touch-sensitive technology in the display rather than relying on an additional capacitive layer to detect input.  We don’t know which handset will be sporting the new display, but it’s likely that Samsung will be pairing it with the debut of the first Bada powered phone.
