Samsung Launches A New Giorgio Armani Smartphone In India

A few days ago in Mumbai, Bollywood actress Sonal Chauhan and Samsung India mobile director Ranjeet Yadav unveiled a new Samsung Giorgio Armani B7620 smartphone.  Since 2007, Samsung and Armani have already collaborated on two other phones.  Like its predecessors, this phone matches the sophistication and style of Armani.  The color of the phone is an elegant bronze color, which coordinates really well with Giorgio Armani suits.  With that said, how does the rest of the phone match up with its look?

Well, for starters, the phone is powered by the new Windows Mobile 6.5.  This operating system is especially nice since the Samsung Giorgio Armani supports both a full touchscreen and Qwerty.  Users can take advantage of WinMo 6.5 new Today screen, finger-friendly UI elements and revamped internet explorer.  Besides the touchscreen, users also have the option of utilizing the phone’s unique QWERTY keyboard.  As you can see from the picture above, the QWERTY keyboard sits at a 30-degree tilt angle when being used.

Other features include 7.2Mbps HSDPA, 5.76Mbps HSUPA, WiFi, 5 megapixel camera, a music player and video support for various multimedia formats, 3.5″ AMOLED screen, 8 GB of internal memory, a microSD slot up to 32 GB, and GPS navigation.  At the time of this writing, pricing has still yet to be announced.  However, like any Armani suit, this phone will probably be just as pricey.
